Knapp Joint
Dove tail joints have existed for many hundreds of years, but at the beginning of the 18 hundreds, when the machine age got around to making furniture, it was hard to make them with a machine. So a new joint called the Knapp joint was invented and used for a while. I found its story on the internet, and decided to try it for CNC. Below is a picture of my first attempt, and the CAD renderings of the joint.
